Nasdaq 100NDX

The Nasdaq 100 tracks the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq exchange. It is heavily weighted toward technology, so it tends to be more volatile than the S&P 500 and moves strongly with the fortunes of large tech firms. Traders access it through ETFs, futures and CFDs rather than buying it directly. It is especially sensitive to interest-rate expectations and tech earnings — higher rates often pressure growth stocks. Like any market it can swing sharply, so use a clear risk plan.
