HTX is the governance token of HTX DAO, the rebranded identity of the exchange formerly known as Huobi. HTX powers governance over the DAO's treasury and ecosystem decisions and is integrated with the HTX exchange for fee perks and launchpad access. The exchange has gone through multiple ownership and brand changes (Huobi → HTX) and operates primarily outside US markets. As an exchange-affiliated token, HTX's value is closely tied to the exchange's business, listings and regulatory standing — exchange-token risk applies, on top of normal crypto volatility.
