Cronos (CRO) is the native token of the Cronos blockchain, an EVM-compatible chain backed by the Crypto.com exchange. It powers transaction fees, staking and governance on Cronos, and is also used across the Crypto.com app and Visa card for cash-back, staking tiers and fee discounts. The total supply was originally 100 billion CRO but was reshaped via burns and token-economics changes in 2021.
